About Us

In Nasutów, the General Karol Ziemski Society for Patriotic Education has been active since March 1, 2015. It was established thanks to the many years of experience of the local community involved in artistic and educational activities. The Society runs the "Theatre from Nasutów" and organizes concerts, exhibitions, shows, and educational workshops. It disseminates the history of the Republic of Poland and promotes pro-defense attitudes.

Performances, concerts, and exhibitions, apart from the towns of the Lublin Province, were presented in Mazovia, Silesia, Pomerania, Świętokrzyskie Land, Łódź, and Lesser Poland. Almost 50,000 viewers have already watched the performances and outdoor shows of the "Theater from Nasutów".

"Theatre from Nasutów" has prepared 16 premiere performances and shows including: "Listy z wojny", "Obozowisko 1863", "Wokulski w Bułgarii", "W dworku Kossaków", "Tajemnica żyrzyńskiego złota", "Droga do wolności 1918", "Kosy śpiewają o świcie". The performances have been staged many times in theaters, cultural centers, churches, and outdoor shows in open-air settings.

Amateur actors from our Society are often invited to participate in television programs and historical films. In cooperation with professionals, we have also prepared film impressions, including "Gra", "Niepodległość", "Ślepcy", "Kosy", as well as a full film version of the performance "Listy z wojny".

Album „Teatr z Nasutowa"

Thanks to the efforts of the General Karol Ziemski Society for Patriotic Education, a publication titled „Teatr z Nasutowa" has been released.

The album contains selected photographs from a rich archive documenting the artistic and educational activities of the amateur theater group from Nasutów.
