Iron Nail

The Iron Nail - the Stefan Brykczyński Award is given to individuals and organizations. The laureates are involved in discovering and promoting social, scientific, economic, artistic, defensive, and other achievements of generations of Poles, in the local community, throughout the country, and also beyond the borders of Poland.

The Board of the Society has honored with the Iron Nail: Fr. Adam Buczyński, parish priest in Nasutów (2023), the Central-Eastern Region of the NSZZ "Solidarity" (2024), and the Academic Legion Association named after gen. Karol Ziemski (2024).

Stefan Brykczyński (1847-1934), as a high school student, fought in the January Uprising in the Lublin "ćwieki" unit, exile, technologist and director of a sugar factory, promoter of Christian workers' organizations.
