Theater from Nasutów

Since 2013, the "Theater from Nasutów" has prepared 16 premiere performances and shows, including: "The Skirmish at Nowy Staw", "Letters from War", "Camp 1863", "Wokulski in Bulgaria", "The Flower Girl", "In the Kossak Manor", "The Secret of Żyrzyń Gold", "The Road to Freedom 1918", and the May 2024 premiere - "The Scythes Sing at Dawn". The performances were presented multiple times in theaters, cultural centers, churches, and outdoor shows.

There were also one-time performances prepared for special occasions. We presented, among others, the poetic etude "The Message" in the Old Theater in Lublin, performances like "Guest in the house, God in the house - patriotic nativity play", "Bless the beloved Homeland - the first Christmas Eve in reborn Poland", "Poland, you are no longer a slave", "For the Independent", "Native land" - concerts and shows for successive anniversaries of regaining independence, "School bench, thank you" - a staging for the 130th anniversary of the founding of the school in Nasutów, an outdoor military show "Konfederatka" from the times of the Bar Confederation, a diorama "Flower" about women's struggle under partitions, a staging for the 1050th anniversary of Poland's baptism, and "Polish Wreaths", a presentation in the courtyard of the Lublin Castle. We also organize dozens of educational shows dedicated to the January Uprising.

Our theater group consists of over 30 people. Entire families often perform in the shows - children, parents, and grandparents. A good example is the play "Letters from War". The performance about the wartime fate of Nasutów residents and related heroes had its premiere in September 2014. The show was performed multiple times with great success. After 10 years, in September 2024, we presented "Letters from War" again with a renewed cast. The children performing in the play grew up beautifully, and the next generation took on the roles of scouts and young insurgents. The audience and actors' emotions were endless.
